One of first projects is to rebuild and enhance the playground of the Emmanuel Child Development Center for underprivileged children in Grandview Heights WPB. We are putting in new hedges, various flowering plants and ground cover. We will also be putting in two larger trees for shade and will rebuild the sand play area and do some repairs to the fencing. There will be new irrigation and good citizen Raphael Clemente had a big play set donated for the kids.

Raphael Clemente of the WPB Downtown Development Authority, who lives in the neighborhood, suggested the project and has been instrumental in helping us raise money for the project. He also got the new playground equipment donated.

Nick Mihelich of Urban Design Kilday Studios was kind enough to draw up the plans for us.

Art By Nature Garden Center in Palm Beach Gardens on Northlake Blvd is donating about half of the plants we need. A special thanks to them! If you need plants for the yard, they have a great selection and very nice facility.

Grease Burger Bar down on Clematis Street is bringing over burger sliders for the volunteers.
